Kolašin – tourist center in the north of Montenegro

Kolašin is the fastest growing tourist center in the north of Montenegro, with a recently opened ski resort that is still developing, and aims to become the best in the region. The highway connected Kolašin to capital Podgorica and shortened ride from Kolašin to airport Podgorica to one hour. That will certainly affect the further tourism and economic development of the mountain town Kolašin, which is located on the slopes of  mountain Bjelasica.

Main tourist attraction of Kolašin are two ski centers – Kolašin 1450 and Kolašin 1600, that are connected. The cable cars are equipped with heaters, speakers and wi-fi signal. In addition to skiing and snowboarding, Kolašin also offers opportunities for other winter sports and activities – snowmobile tours, Nordic skiing, ski touring and winter hiking.
